A WORD ABOUT COLOR
Here’s some straight talk about colorfastness, which is the measurement of how fade resistant a pigment is when exposed to the elements over a period of time.
The pigments used in manufacturing Capitol’s pavers meet the requirements of ASTM C979 which means the pigments are stable under exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) radiation, and are alkali and weather resistant.

SUPERIOR STRENGTH
The minimum industry standard for manufacturing concrete pavers is 8,000 pound per square inch (psi). Capitol is pleased to affirm that our pavers surpass the ASTM requirements for this critical test.

LOW WATER ABSORPTION
When a paver absorbs water and freezes it expands up to 9% which overtime can break down the concrete cells and its overall integrity. Capitol pavers are manufactured to withstand water absorption making them less susceptible to freeze/thaw damage.
